Mazda Hakaze: the lowdown
Mazda claims to have reinvented the 4x4 with this new banana-coloured Hakaze concept at the Geneva Motor Show next month. It's a crossover with a twist, mixing the best bits of coupes, roadsters and SUVs, apparently. It's also, worryingly, designed to appeal to a very definite demographic: kite surfers aged between 30 and 40.
Raise your hand: Who thinks there won't be a lawsuit over the Porsche Carrera GT crash that killed “Fast and the Furious” actor Paul Walker, and his friend, business associate and driver Roger Rodas? Nobody? Thought so.
Peugeot is not the first brand you'd suspect of testing at Germany's Nurburgring circuit. But not only has it taken its 2010 EX1 concept sports car to the infamous German circuit, but it's claimed a lap record. I'm sick of Nurburgring records.
